Finally all those Stearman owners have the chance to buy a decent aircraft!

Good one Tine.
I've flown in an N3N. It felt like a big old Cadillac. Like it was on rails. Control response was very positive.
I let you know after I've flown a Stearman :D

Looks like a nice one. It was recovered and painted last year. The 680 Lyc and C/S is a great engine combination for the N. I'm biased as I fly one with the Lyc. Don

Last bid was $52000 hell of a deal if that's what it sold for.

Hi David and welcome to WIX! That N3N for sale in Florida should be N44821, BuNo 4488.

Thanks, Chris.

I am working on a list of the entire fleet so your information is helpful.

David

Entire fleet of n's for sale or all N3N's as in a registry? Guess I should ask who you are and why the interest in the N?

Took a look at your Blog and see that your goal is to have a complete registry. With the recent purge by the FAA to remove all old registry's, it will not be a easy task.

As you possibly can tell, I might know a few things about the N and have been working on my own database and tracking movements since 1998. It has always been my goal to gather the information and have it posted in the WIX Registry.

Jeff, Give the guy a break and maybe help him a bit instead of the criticism. Yes you know a lot about the N so how about sharing with him. Don

I don't see Jeff criticizing. Just giving some constructive feedback.

Actually it was not any criticism at all. I have helped him by getting him on the N3N owners site so I have helped. Maybe you can understand that after many years of research and hard work have gone into what I have for a purpose and to just hand all of that over is not easy. Its still a work in progress for me and I enjoy doing it. I guess if there were a time where I had made a decision not to continue then yea I would certinly pass it on.

Guess you would need to see it from my point of view. Im sure Mark and his pictures that he is finding on ebay is about the same feeling. Not that I believe that David is doing this for money as even I have admitted that there are not enough of us N3N closet junkies to warrant a book sale. :D
