Here are a few photos of the Helldiver restoration at the NASM. I dont think they have been posted before.
http://airandspace.si.edu/museum/udvarh ... photos.cfm The work is coming along very nicely it would appear. The plane is scheduled to go on display in December of this year. Glad to see work is finally underway in the new faclity there in Virginia.

As I understand it, they are still at the cleaning and inspecting stage rather than carrying out detailed restoration work as yet.
