Anyone else going to be at the Burnet Airshow this weekend?

Me! Me! Me! With a little luck, the forecast storms will push through tonight and tomorrow and Saturday will be nice for a change. Will you be bringing in the L-5? See you in orange!

I will likely be there on the ground somewhere near my Taylorcraft.

The CAF High Sky Wing in Midland will be there in force. We are scheduled to take the Beech SNB-5, 2 T-28A's, L-17, SNJ, PT-19, Luscombe 8A, and possibly Kate 311 replica. We are hoping to arrive late Friday afternoon.

Houston Wing CAF will be there with PT-19, BT-13, T-6, C-60 Lodestar. The PT, BT and should be there Fri afternoon with the T-6, C-60 arriving early Sat morning. I'll be keeping the right seat warm on the Lodestar; looking forward to it!

Planning on making it as well as taking Amelia, my 7 year old Aviatrix in training to her first Air Show. She's so excited she can't sit still!

I plan to make it in the High Sky Wing member-owned KATE AI-311. Looking forward to the first show of the year. See some of you there.

TEXAS RAIDERS is coming but I am not.

Actually I am wimping out because my "new" engine does not have enough run-in time. But I hope to make it in Moose Jaw Belle next year.

Y'all have safe fun!

The show went very well. I was so happy to see old friends again after being off the circuit for over a year. The Highland Lakes Squadron really put on a great show and their volunteers were very helpful and courteous. :drink3:
