Thank you for the clarifications. Who did do the "undoing" of the clipper bow? Or was this one of the few that was preserved with a nose turret in place?
Pat: The lighting in the hangars is excellent. I did not need a flash on the majority of the photos. It really looks like this place was designed by warbird enthusiasts for warbird enthusiasts. If only Udvar-Hazy allowed the same kind of access!(I know that is not feasible. Comparing MAM to U-H is like comparing apples to oranges. You'd likely end up with a hangar full of ruined and damaged aircraft if U-H adapted the same policy as MAM, unfortunately)
