You shouldn't need to plug it. I believe their is a valve that keeps it from leaking.

Thanks for the answers.

I don't have time this week, but I'll be taking a look at a store near the airport where they have medical and welding O2 fittings next week. Also, I now know how I'll connect all the communication stuff together.

Should be fun.
