A P-3 Orion passed directly over my house just after 5:00 PM, headed west at about 5,000 feet. Unusual to see them around my area. More often seen on approach to Love Field (about 30 miles from here).

They may have been doing something at JRB or out west and headed back to Love. They've been flying a lot recently and I've seen them coming back from the west, so it may be a new project they're starting on. I'm just wondering if/when they'll upgrade to P-8's.

Saw 6 CH or MH-53s flying low over Haines City FL in formation northwest bound yesterday - no idea why. They might have been flying from Avon Park up to Pan Handle bases.

Saw the Cavanaugh Flight Museum's Caribou circling Addison on a test flight today. I posted a pic on instagram, but it only barely looks like the Caribou since I took it from my phone camera. :)

The Caribou was up again today. I saw it cruising around the North Dallas area about 2:30 PM.

Wow, they're really wanting to put some hours on it then. I saw it at 9:30am. I doubt it was flying continuously that whole time, but wouldn't surprise me either. :)

I was at the model airplane field near Tulsa chasing contrails just to see what might pop up and what do you know-A 747 Dreamlifter!

It's like the Sorcerers Apprentice, the brooms carrying buckets of water just keep a comin'. With production on hold, the field is full of gliders and sections are piling up everywhere.

Earlier today I caught the Good Year blimp "Spirt of America" cruising overhead LAX.
Yesterday a BA 747 did a go-around at LAX~ what a sweet sound!!!
(I'm about eight to ten blocks north of the north runways right now)

When my ex son-in-law was in 10, they flew from Bangor ME. to Everett to attend the Paine Field Air Fair (his suggestion at a 'what'r we gonna do this Summer? meeting' the C.O. thought that was a great idea for a long range training mission), he has/had some spectacular shots of Mt.Rushmore and the Rockies.
I regularly see T-45's (darn those suckers are loud) buzzing the area and they're from Beeville, used to see T2 Buckwheats here from there and that HAD to be a grinder flight.

Yest morning...Happy Jacks P-51 inbound to SAT right over the house. Used to talk to Mr Ilfrey some back in the 90's. He gave me several issues of the 20th FG newsletter. Great man.
