What airworthy airplanes does CAM have?

I am not sure of the airworthiness condition of their aircraft, but their view point is all static displays, no flying allowed.

That was my understanding too, so maybe these "slots" are for static display. Might be worth a visit anyway to get the CAM stuff outside.

UPDATE: The focus of the Grumman line is to have all the aircraft together, true, some aircraft are static only but will be
parked together with the ones that fly for photo/historical purposes. Same with the Connie, it belongs to CAM
and will be static only / open for tours and parked with the other Lockheeds. The DC-3/C-47 category is mostly full! Even if a few are static, you have to admit that having those 9 Grummans parked tightly togehter would be an unusual occurance, to say the least.

Sounds like this event is coming together nicely! Hope they get a decent turnout of warbirds and people.

This event is shaping up to be an exciting gathering indeed, and that at Warbirds and Legends' first attempt (although there was of course the highly successful DC-3 event in Rock Falls in 2010 as well).
As things currently stand, I intend to drive down from Oshkosh after the Friday airshow to be in Topeka on the Saturday and the Sunday. Those two Harpoons in flight are something to look forward to (but so are 16 DC-3's and 10 Beech 18's, or the Grumman formation).
Will photographers be consulted in the planning of the event please? Judging from Google Maps and a visit a couple of years ago, Forbes Field does offer opportunities for proper photos, but not at all times. If the mass formation flights do take place around 11 a.m., as currently indicated, I believe photos by the general public will have to be taken into the sun (apart from the fact that around noon in early August, the sun is very high in the Midwest anyway).

Thanks,
Roger

I'm still wondering about the whereabouts of at least half of the 26 flyable P-47s indicated on their website !?

I think the RC people now have 50 P-47s that will show.

And we hope they have at least 50 different channels to work with....

This is looking to be one I will not miss. I just might take a ride in one of the DC-3/C-47 or possibly the A-26. I went to the Gathering of Mustangs and Legends in 2007 and never regretted it, wish it could be duplicated, maybe this will. Nothing yet on exactly which aircraft will be there , but 2 Harpoons, cool. What A-26 could it be? Possibly "Spirit Of Oklahoma"? Maybe "Hard To Get" ,it sells rides .

Wouldn't it be great to have 3 harpoons?
