The Cavanaugh Flight Museum's Caribou does look like the former Army Aviation Heritage Foundation's one. The website says that both their Caribou and Mohawk are airworthy and available for air shows. It would be terrrific to see these at Thunder in June.

A few here mentioned about a C-123 seen on the airshow curcuit. It is C-123 "Thunder Pig" operated by Air Heritage out of Beaver Falls Pa. I only ever see it on static display. But C-123's are def. VIETNAM birds for sure!

Yes, this was announced by the YAM/T.O.M. a little while back on their Facebook page. Michael is an outstanding pilot and performer and an asset to an air show, but probably not what a lot of WIXer's would go to Thunder Over Michigan for.

The show has assured us that Michael will be the ONLY strictly civilian type non-warbird aerobatic performer at the show this year, so there will be plenty of time for warbirds. This is only the second time that a non-warbird civilian aerobatic airplane and pilot have performed at Thunder. The other time was Sean Tucker in 2007.
