Amongst these many photos are lego warbirds current and past warbird types ... amazing detail from a person who is clever with recreating many things.

WOW

This guy is amazing! The B-52 is huge and his work is pretty incredible. It just blows my mind, the carrier wing aircraft are amazing to. Be sure to check out the mini figure designs to - everything from a Corsair, zero, TBM, Wildcat to a Heinkel. I think Lego should send him a big check and pick up his designs for a military aircraft series.

That's awesome! Ironic too, considering I'm currently trying to build a LEGO B-25 myself. I'll try to post a picture here when I finally get around to finishing it. I've already designed, bought and constructed a LEGO Clemson-class destroyer. (My great-uncle served on one.)

If you want to try building one of these for yourself and you don't feel like going out and buying a bunch of LEGOs you might end up not needing, check out the free program LEGO has out called LEGO Digital Designer. It's what I'm using. (If your're wondering the way they make money by convincing you to purchase the model you built. )

LEGO Digital Designer

Should this thread go in the model building forum?
