apologies if this is not the correct place - I am looking for detailed, in-depth references on the Rolls Royce Griffon engine, as used by the Spitfire F.Mk.XIV....books, restoration threads, photos, it's all good

please let me know what's available

Stroll through the Bald Eagle Aviation thread towards the top of the page. Lots of indepth stuff on the Griffon Mk 65 and some on the Mk 58.
Its mounted in a Mk XVIII but its the stronger version of a Mk XIV.
I have many manuals here I use for the Maint on it.
If you are specific about needs I could point you at a manual.
Its British so there are many manuals.

Here's a source from the Rolls Heritage Trust;
Rolls Royce piston aero engines series 16, ISBN 1-872922-00-7
any large bookseller should be able to order it using the ISBN # but be prepared, I'll bet it's pretty expensive.
