I've never missed seeing it when it came through here, not once. Now it's a thing I will never see again. Sigh. :(

At least you got to see it, NASA has never brought a shuttle through Phx, despite the fact that Honeywell in Deervalley, built the avionics and part of the control systems for both it and the space station.

I asked them why they would not bring the shuttle to Phx and all I got for a answer was, they were not paying the bill.

And a few more. It was crowded at EFD, took me 40 minutes just to go from Clear Lake City Blvd to the first EFD exit-about 2 miles.

Ironically, I missed seeing this on more than one occasion.
I was in New Orleans when they originally were going to do the fly by at Michoud, but that got delayed for weather (rained like a SOB that day anyway). Then, I missed it by a day at Houston for another delay. At least I was able to do the JSC NASA tour which I'm sure would've been a madhouse otherwise.
Really ironic, I flew the Enterprise Simulator several times at the Adult Space Camp in Huntsville just a few days before!

Oh well, at least I have seen orbiters flying on the backs of SCA 747s in the past. When I lived in Florida, they'd buzz Tallahassee every few years.

Dig that shot of Endeavour passing by Randy's Donuts! Makes you want to hum a few bars of Randy Newman's "I Love L.A."

(obligatory: "MMMMM... Donuts!")
