How is the search feature used?

I am trying to find the topic about the Duxford Hurricanes that I started a little while ago. Unfortunately I am have troulbe using the search feature to find it.

Duxford Hurricanes

I just went to the search page and searched for 'hurricane' with the default options and found it a few results down the list.
