Gents, The Pup has flown!
video link below. The airplane is very cool to fly and as maneuverable as all the stories I've read.

We are definately planning on stopping in on Saturday July 28th. Is Saturday a 'fly day' that something will be going up?

Such beautiful craftsmanship! Normally I'm no fan of the mock engine fronts on flat-four-powered replicas, but this looks great! If only you could hook up the front to the propshaft to simulate a rotary!
I can't wait to see this beauty in the air. Gorgeous!
We recently had two Pup repros take to the air in New Zealand, with at least two more underway. Nice to see a revival of this delightful machine.

Thanks gents I wasn't sure at first what to think of the copper tube treatment but now I'm glad we did it. It looks good enough without being overly complicated. Pete I'll be at Oshkosh on the 28th unfortunately so I'll miss you. But if Paul is there you never know what may fly.
Zac, the TVAL Pup is simply stunning. I only wish we had a LeRhone for our airplane!
