Looks like the one at Palwaukee Airport in Wheeling, Il has closed. I wonder where the aircraft went?

Does anyone know the name/location of the company that did the replicas, and if they are still in business?

I stumbled onto the Proud Bird about 15 years ago while on my way to a Dr Who convention. When I stopped in to ask more details on the planes, nobody there had a clue about them....

David Tallichet was the guy that made most of them out at Chino. He also owned all the proud bird restraunts. I think he is dead now but I don't know if the replica business was passed on to somebody else or not.
