Lady Be Good

Tue Aug 21, 2012 6:29 pm

Does anyone have any information on the Lady Be Good? The latest information i can find is that she is at some kind of base in Libya. I am assuming sadly that given current conflicts in the region she is gone, and even worse there is no hope for us getting our plane back. I know there are pieces of her scattered throughout the country, but would be nice to have her back. Thank you for any information you may have!

Welcome to WIX!

There have been many discussions over the years about Lady Be Good on this forum.
A few in the last year asking the exact same question.
It would be nice to know what will happen to this artifact....who knows maybe she will be preserved some how in thin future.

Here are some links to previous discussions.
Happy Reading!

Welcome aboard! It would be pretty awesome if the remains of Lady Be Good were to come home but I dont think we should hold our collective breath. If you check out this site you will see how the B-24 has looked in recent history www.panoramio.com/photo/22002468
