Let's make is happen at OSH next year. Do you think Dave would do Oshkosh two years in a row?

That'd be beautiful, especially over the ocean.

If that were to happen (Oshkosh 2013) We'd have to get Hot Stuff up there as well...too close not to go for it in a big way! Maybe ole Pooner will get one of his going as well?

Lets commit to making it happen then. We should all meet outside and come in to OSH in formation.
To the Hot Stuff gang;
I will make your tunnel gun glass soon and get it sent to you.
Are you all up for making a threesome at OSH next year?
Dave, how about you?

I did manage to fix the leaks in the emergency hydraulic panel and the hydraulic hand pump. Next up are the up latches, the left one being the most needy one.
Sorry I don't have pics, but either Taigh will post them or I will the next time I'm in the shop.

Thanks, Taigh!! Three Harpoons would be quite a sight (and sound)! All depends on available funding, so we'll keep our fingers crossed.

Wow! What a lofty, but worthy goal! First off, I believe that this would need to be presented to EAA officials, as an airshow act, to at least help the funding for fuel....and a lot of healthy support from the Harpoon Fans....

Lofty goals; you bet they are!
I believe that funding for fuel is the key to all three of us attending. Maybe Thunder can help out too so we can hit both shows?

Wow, just shows you can't kill those birds, they where made to last and fly.

Need a ground crew we are looking at Thunder. Hey there is to be another Thunder over Utah next year maybe that one first?

Pulling hair out today by taking too many steps backwards. Hoping things will start moving forward again soon.

Hey Jerry,
Sorry to say we will not be attending the Capitol Airshow but we are trying to make it to Reno. Maybe we will see you there.
We have clipped the tips on the Harpoon, blue printed and polished the ports and added Prolong to the oil tank. We have torn out all of the heavy crap inside the fuselage and speed taped all the gaps. We have the tail wheel where it will come up with a pull on a cable rigged to a 2x4 near the copilots seat. It even goes 2 inches higher than the factory setting (don't tell the inspectors). We think we have a good shot at the bronze at least...trying to be realistic anyhow.
Well I got to go back to the hardware store for more speed tape. Gotta go. See you at Reno!
