Which P-38 and which Mustang were in Milwaukee over the weekend for the airshow? I was at the Wisc state fair when I saw these 2 aircraft fly over in formation headed for the lakefront

The P-38 was Ruff Stuff. Saw a photo over on Fence Check.

P-51D "Petie 2nd" and P-38 "Ruff Stuff" were the ones accompanying WIX member T-33 Driver's neato jeto, I understand from my morning inbox surprise!

Thanks for posting that pic, I love to see the family resemblance between the T-33 and the P-38, especially around the nose, tail, and outer wings. Great stuff.

Years ago at the old Harrah's auto museum in Reno, there was a unrestored P-38 out back. It was complete but missing its nose, the fuselage was blanked off with a piece of plywood.

I wondered if a T-33 nose piece would fit.
Anyone know?

T-33 nose grafted onto a P-38.
