Attention kiddos - Next time you're outdoors recording something on a windy day, make sure to put a stocking on your camera's mike to cut out the background noise made by the wind.

I wonder how many cameras have external mikes nowdays to be able to cover with a sock. Still impressive!

Hadn't thought about that, as I'm still "roughing it" with a 10 year old 8mm cam with an external mike.

I would gladly have killed someone to have been able to be hanging out on the top of the lighthouse when the Vulcan went by.
