Most of the panel face plates are in fair condition. They become a challenge when bleached white.

The F-86H fuselage is F-86H-1-NA 52-2017 187-43.

Some quick notes on the F-86H fuselages 52-2017 and 53-1512.
The F-86Hs were built in Columbus, Ohio. Both served in the MA ANG.
While assigned to the MA ANG they may have been deployed to France during the Cold War Berlin Crisis.

Is there a wooden plywood floor in the F86 covered with rubberized paint or aluminum?

Aluminum floor.



Major materials in the fuselage include various aluminum alloys, titanium, and steel, no wood in the F-86.

Are you going to repaint the interior as needed and leave as much originality as you can?

The fuselages have been in outside storage for years and it shows by the amount of dirt and debris that is deposited inside them. Cleaning is one of the easier items on the list of things to do. Making the cockpits complete is next. Painting will be done when required with the overall objective to keep them in the colors they were in when in operation.

Will the remaining wing root section be eventually removed or perhaps just trimmed off...looks like a really nice project.

The wing roots are bolted to the center section on the fuselage. They will be removed later. They show the cut lines of the scrapping process, speed is money when it means pennies a pound.

Well at least the tail wasn't removed with a cutting saw. So it will look tidy from the back end.

This set of photos is on the PP-493/APG-30. It resides in the nose of the fuselage. I did cleaning and minor paint on the box as well as thorough internal cleaning with sort brush, air, and hand wiping individual parts (38 tubes). The face of the component will require further research before detailing. This is part of the A4 radar siting system that gave an advantage to our fighters when air to air combat was done with guns and short range missiles.
