A gentleman (Ed) bought a ride in TEXAS RAIDERS in Dayton, Ohio last week. He was kind enough to bring his leather flight jacket.
He was in the 15th AF out of Italy.

Now I am glad I didn't get all stuffy and ask for just original WWII jackets!
That is beautiful Fritz!

And I love the Liberty Belle jacket.
Heck I love 'em all--- the Long and the short and the tall...
And correct you are Hemiman!

Keep 'em coming... I will see what I can shake up.

The family does jackets for folks on the side. They are hand painted with specific leather paints. Each jacket is different and completely unique. Here are a few examples.

They also have a Facebook Page,

This is my great uncle's jacket from when he was in the service around 1946 to 1949 we think. When Emil passed away and we were selling the three story house in Bridgeport, my father found this jacket in the crawl space on the third floor. He tells me it was literally folded into a square and was not pliable. He bought a can of neatsfoot oil and took his time bringing the jacket back to life. This is what it looks like today.

This guy does some of the nicest jacket art I've seen. It looks dead on from World War II.
