Aeronca O-58A progress 8/03/12

All welding is completed and the elevator push rod, supports, formers and top stringers are installed. You can see the rear bulkhead for the spruce greenhouse above the rear passenger. All other L-3s use a metal framed structure for the greenhouse. The inside photo shows the rear shoulder harness attach point we welded in for the rear passenger. The single belt crosses your right shoulder and attaches to the lap belt just like in my 177B Cardinal.

It is starting to look like an airplane now. :)
