That is 5 more than showed up last year (not counting the Blue Angels) with all the early Hornets nest advertising. I figure that the two Black Lions aren't special schemes but any of the other 3 wearing the special retro CONA schemes? I really want that F-18 painted like a Corsair - dark blue with the checkboard. The two toned blue retro EA-18G Growler has come to Sun N Fun a couple times so I was fortunate to get it.

Thanks for the updates. Looks like a few more aircraft added to the list that weren't there before. Hope the F-5E Tiger II from Fallon arrives on Friday!

Those were from Fallon last year too right? It was cool to see the different color scheme Tigers. Up until then I just got the Key West based ones that have a different paint scheme.

They had a couple of the F-16s from Fallon in the aggressor colors at Dayton last year also.

I saw the Vultee Valiant "Grace" make a quick stop at PTK today. Nice overhead break. It was headed south to YIP (I assume). It was music to my ears :D

The BlackLions, Gunslingers, Gladiators and Stingers all have CAG's painted up (and sometimes their x01 jet as well), but none except the Gladiators have any CONA birds as far as I know of....and the Gladiators one is an E model with an old Skyhawk type color scheme to it, nothing too colorful, but still cool to see. I'd expect at least one of the squadrons to bring their color bird.

Felix is VF-31 (ex VF-3)

I'll be sitting on Ecorse off the runway FRI in an old blue Dodge Ram, scanners blazing !
[airboss has been 118.75 last few years, hoping there is no change]. Will likely go into show at least one of the days, probably back on Ecorse for another.
Hope the weather holds out, looks spotty for SUN.

The Thunderbolts left TN today on their way to Thunder. Zack can breath a little easier now.

I'll be sitting on Ecorse on friday also. Hopefully we have a good showing. I'll be testing my new scanner and taking video.

I'm up in Michigan now - will be on Ecorse tomorrow - Southeast wind, does it mean they will use the Runway 23s tomorrow? Or will they use Runway13 or 14 or whatever that is over by the GM plant? Will I be able to get the Airboss on Liveatc.net so I can listen on my phone?

My wife and I are headed out the door right now and will be up there tonight! I'm pumped for the show, and super pumped that I won't be in a wheelchair with a sprained ankle like last year!

Who all else is going?
