Saw the Sistership N2A flying over Daytona Speedway for the Coke Zero 400 - but it was overshadowed by the B-52 that flew over the race.

An E-3 with the oldschool stovepipe engines and smoke just flew over on approach to MCO 10 min ago. I am pissed I didn't run out there with my camera to get it as I heard the unsual high pitch screaming sound (that was similar sounding to the B-52 I heard at Daytona Beach Saturday)

The discussion continues as to whether or not you can stall one and tower advising 'caution bag turbulence on short final'

Formation of three SH-60 Blackhawks wandering hither and yon across the D.C. area. The made two passes by my house in Damascus, and then I saw them repeatedly on my way to Bethesda.

Not exactly military but, when was the last time you saw a PIPER PA-23 135 Sweet Potato'? had one droning around the neighborhood like a big fat honey bee, must be @ KAWO for the EAA fly-In. A trip in the 'Way Back Machine' for sure

'if we lose an engine, I understand this thing will maintain a very steep glide to impact'

I was pulling into work in Kalamazoo yesterday afternoon and saw a bright silver glint in the sky over downtown. High-wing aircraft, but much too slow for a Cessna. Sure enough as I got out of my car the Air Zoo's Ford Tri-Motor came trundling over. First time I've seen the old girl in the air since the fall of 2001!

It was circling the race track, but the tower made the blimp move way off to the side when the B-52 did its fly by over the track.

Yesterday was on west coast of Florida - saw a Coast Guard HH-60 inbound to St. Pete/Clearwater Airport from Courtney Campbell Causeway. Then in Redington Beach a Coast Guard HC-130 was circling around at about 2000 ft with a thunderstorm in the area. At Passe A Grille Beach - near St. Pete a KC-135R was inbound to MacDill.

I was pleasantly awakened @ 0600 this morning to a dappled sunrise, golden tinged clouds, and the sweet sounds of a very well tuned R-1340 attached to a T-6 climbing out of KBVS (Mt. Vernon, WA) just down the hill from my bedroom window, never did see him but he buzzed around the area for about 10-15 minutes before flying off-maybe down to KAWO for the EAA Fly-In.

saw a V-22 airborne at low altitude (approx 1500agl) Northeast bound from Anderson SC. Very unusual sight in this neighborhood. Those things always look scary when the fly. I'm always just waiting for parts to start flying off.

I did too. You said northeast bound so that might rule out it being the same one. One came into MCO (first time I seen one land here) around 3:30 yesterday. We had one at Executive Airport a few weeks back though. I am walking about to my car and I see one passing over at about 1,000 ft inbound to Runway 18R with its rotors tilted at 45 degrees
