Hi Folks,

For those interested in sharing, EAA Warbirds magazine editor Jim Busha is looking to do a big picture spread of warbirds in civilian schemes in a future issue. Full photo credit would be given for any photos submitted. If you would like to submit your photo(s) for publication, please contact Jim at jbusha@eaa.org. Thanks!

I guess now the P-39 registered as N40A is now at the Kalamazoo Air Zoo, according to the FAA.

Took these back in Early August at Bozeman, MT. The Skycrane stopped for fuel and had flown over our hotel a few minutes before. It was on it's way to fight the fires in Northern MT!

First off, I apologize for the horrible picture quality. I scaned these from original photos on matt paper.

I think this qualifies hands down for the fastest civilian aircraft ever. N844NA, aka, NASA 844, or SR-71 980. I was at Edwards AFB Oct 1999 for its final flight. Not much of a difference between military and NASA.

I just love this thread. Here are a few of my favorites that I'm surprised have not been included thus far.

The movie Dr. Strangelove was filmed by IGN B-17 44-85643 F-BEEA - this photo shows her landing after a shoot with the logo of the film on her nose. Not as glamorous as some of the color shots in this thread but a very historic photo nonetheless.

Yes, both were owned by the Hughes Empire. Howard Hughes actually flew the A-20, and never set foot in the B-25
