My father and I were just up there. its a awesome place. we got to look into that hanger and the one right across. definitly worth the trip.

The VS-44 looks deceptively easy to fly from that Cockpit layout. You wouldn't think that's a 4 engine mega seaplane beyond the extra engine gauges. Thanks for the post Jerry.

Did you notice that the VS-44A's throttle quadrant mounted on the cockpit ceiling looks like an exact copy of a Boeing B-17's set-up, only upside down?
