I just did google earth and it looks like the runway has been destroyed, oh well, it was 43 years ago.

So wild to see Passionate Paulette in her Catch-22 markings. Today she is at Grissom. I would like to put that nose art back on her at some point down the road.

Stoney
I had read that the film set was cleared with the runway removed straight after the filming finished ?

N10V What a machine, I heard she was a heavy Bee Otch to fly :o .
She was Purchased for International Playboy Porfirio Rubirosa by Barbra Hutton. She got fed up with Ruby chasing Zsa Zsa Gabor and had the B-25 sold :axe: . J.O. Willet, of Monroe, LA, bought the Flying Love-Nest in Dec. 1954. He told me that the wing panels had been shortened by a couple of feet. Glad she made it through the years. Thanks for posting Stoney....You D-Man :supz:

Stoney, Your photos are awesome. I have watched the movie at least a half dozen times and your photos add to the experience of the movie by looking behind the scenes. I just hope you have more to share.
Thank you for posting the photos and your contribution the making of the movie.

Here is the other Tallmantz camera ship for Catch 22. N0142B is now the Pacific Prowler. We still have the camera nose and many of the mods that were made to accommodate camera work are still functional such as the detachable tail cone. The cover of Aviation Week with Ross Perot Jr's T-38 in Thunderbird colors over Eagle Mtn Lake was taken from the Prowler last Oct. This shot was taken at the Edwards AFB show in 2009. The two ladies are in the movie promotion/production business and were there with a friend of mine who was working on a documentary about the Edwards Test Pilot School. That's lucky me sandwiched between. Sometimes it pays to be a B-25 pilot!! We were helping out the DAV with their display at the show. Good times!! JR
