There seems to be a bit of trouble on the docks things are moving slow they tell me.The guys from Classic Wings seem to have their fingers on the pulse before the rest of us so you will just have to wait til the mag comes out.

We have asked Tony what we can run in the next news section... that he won't have sold on by the time it goes to print ..which will make the whole excercise redundant as with the Corsair in the last edition...not sure if we can get him to sign a guarantee though :roll:

Hi Mick,any chance of a pic of the Mustang.From the sounds of it you guys at Wang are going to end up with more types than Qantas.How do you deal with the license coverage issue,is there someone in the workshop who will be able to certify for all the aircraft.Best regards ,Pete Bradley

No i am not aloud to take any photos,got a smack on the hand for it.
You will have to wait to see what Classic Wings prints.
A reminder the Jet Modelers are having their big weekend here on the 25th.
So there will be thousands of people here,heaps of food.
No warbirds flying though the airport will be closed for the modelers.
These things realy get going and they turn on a dime.

Hey

is there any truth in the rumour that the Wang could be going the way of Temora and get a couple of jets?

Its my understanding that there could be a sabre and meteor on the move soon.

can anyone confirm or deny?

NOT heard that one but anything is possibel. If it is a CAC Sabre I don't know where you would get a good example unless it was Jerry Yeagans example now
at Avespecs in NZ - would I think be the only good restoration project left after Temora cornered the market with their recent aquisitions - I think they have 5 now!!

The meatbox is also interesting - no idea where they would get a good one here in Aus - most are pretty chatty (Technical term ) remember Temora went to the UK for theirs - Perhaps there are one or two that could be rebuilt to fly but you are talking a lot of effort= Money -

Wang does of course have a single seat Mirage .......................
