WW2 photos found...

Nothing newsworthy but a grouping of some neat photos I found at a local antique place, all for $1.50! Looks like a B-17 wing in the bottom one. They didn't scan well, you know how old photos can be, especially the small snapshots...

I realize that this is a very old topic... I'm not a regular poster here anymore but do try to play a bit of catch-up now and again.

Anyhoo, these are super-groovy photos... wish I could make such a find at a local antique shop!

Actually, unless the original print is garbage from the get-go, or has been totally trashed, you can get some very good images from many old 'snapshots'... some of these look as though they might scan up fairly well and, if not, they would at least be very interesting to study. I especially dig the two shots of the A-20 recovery...
