May have been moving a patient. Most of the C-21's are used for Medivac nowdays. DV transport is usually in one of the Gulfstreams.

A very dark-colored T-38 Talon taking off from Alliance.
A P-51 Mustang taking off from Meacham. (okay, I heard it but didn't see it from inside the hangar)
A really pretty aqua and white 1950s Piper Apache taking off from Meacham. What a classic! 8)
A pair of SIAI Marchetti SF.260s taking off from Meacham in formation.

Not a bad day. . . :D

Local newspaper says that a B-17 and B-25 landed at the Erie-Ottawa County Regional airport on Monday. Thought I seen them flying but while driving down the road was hard to keep an eye on them. Sure was nice to see them gearing up for the upcoming season. I believe they are the Yankee's 'birds :drink3:

Saw what appeared to be a Ventura flying overhead near Marine Corp. Air Station Miramar. That and the usual array of hardware, Hornets, Ospreys, C 130's and stuff.

While I was unable to get a picture I had a V-22 fly over my neck of the woods, southeastern PA. It was up high, moving quick, and headed southwest. I have no clue where it was coming from or headed to. NAS Pax is about 200 miles south of me.

Grabbed a shot of this chopper from my office window as she flew over BMS.

Out shooting photos of the sunset and caught some aerial refueling action. KC-135 is out of McGhee Tyson in Knoxville, TN.

Also had a passenger jet pass by on its way to land at KTRI.

Here is a photo of a plane flying by BMS that I took back in January.
Just noticed that there are markings on the bottom of the wings.
Pretty hard to see, but maybe someone can recognize the type of plane and the markings?

Considering we don't usually "patrol"... ;)

Lynn is correct though. It's a Civil Air Patrol Cessna. Since it's got a Becker DF (white thing under the fuselage between wing and tail) and wing-mounted landing lights, I'm going to say it's one of our G1000-equipped Cessna C-182T's.

Spotted one of the B-25's heading to Dayton over Rushville, Indiana at 1:15 Eastern time today. Flying from West to East--too far away to identify or photograph. Unmistakeable sound and sillouette.

Yep. Got time in the right seat of that plane. The G1000 kit we have on these planes is really nice because it has a special software package that will automatically setup our search patterns and the autopilot allows the pilot to spend his time looking for traffic while the scanner and observer spend their time looking for whatever we're looking for.
