I travel to San Diego around once per month and the USS Midway Museum is a short walk from where we stay. Sometimes I only have an hour or so, but I have slowly but steadily seen the entire ship. Wow. What a nice job they have done - and are doing - to allow visitors to see this magnificent ship. The interactive nature with veterans, the little details, like a toothbrush resting on the edge of a basin or the sound of snoring being played while walking through the berthing areas really make this a standout. This week I went with the intent of photographing all of the aircraft. Enjoy.

I was hoping one of our Corsair experts would chime in and tell us more about the fine looking bird sitting on the hangar deck ...
