Excuse me, but what the hell is an "authentic reproduction" please?

And looking at the pictures, I very much doubt that it "is being reproduced from original Mk 5 plans" either.

Whatever this thing is, it isn't a Spitfire. :x

PS You might have gathered that I don't like these 'wannabe warbirds' trying to pass themselves off as something that they aren't. Each to their own, I suppose.

Aw c'mon Mike! Lighten up a little and let some folks (me included) dream. Looks like a fun bird to me. I enjoyed looking over the website and seeing some of the construction details.

I've been involved in a full scale Jurca Spitfire and an NA-50 project. While not "real" fighters, I learned a lot from each. I have also worked on more than my share of "real" warbirds.

Agreed, prob not from original plans, but there's a lot to work with there.
Add a Falconer..gotta have that V-12! Twice the HP of the Chevy-6.
Graphite contra-screws...come-on lottery!!!!
