Great photos Bill!

I didn't know that about Ed Heller and Korea. Very interesting.

Gumby was flying Galveston Gal, Tuna was driving TarHeel Hal. Not sure who was in Gumby's back seat, maybe General Tommy?

Great photos Bill. I've never seen the camo'd F-86 before.

Does anyone know if this is the first time and A-36 will fly in the HF?

God that is a beautiful Sabre! :)

Just a note: The 167th FS (WV ANG) initially painted the noses of their F-51s like those of the 352nd FG in honor of Edwin Heller, who was the WV ANG's first Senior Flight Instructor. He brought his family to the Charleston, WV area and was employed at the E. I. DuPont plant in Belle, WV, where my grandfather worked until his retirement. I believe he was next transferred to the Selfridge Field, Michigan just before the outbreak of hostilities in Korea. He is fondly remembered in this neck of the woods.

Thanks for the spectacular pics Vlado. Through the bubble of a P-51 canopy appears to be one of the few ways to make Tucson look appealing! :D
