F9F model from "Toko-Ri" sold at auction

This was back in December; went for over $4K with fees. Since it has landing gear, I bet it was used in the carrier landing sequence rather than the crash landing or attack scenes:

So now we know how big the models were: 5' 1" span. Nice detail; would have been a great exhibit for Planes of Fame.

A neat find.
A couple of years ago on "Antiques Roadshow" they had a nice model of a Hamilton Metalplane from "Only Angels Have Wings". They valued it at $4-5,000, which I would gladly pay for it.
I wonder what happened to the model of the Boeing 40B-4 that appears in the film?
