It is actually N335. It was restored at Gosshawk 15 years ago and never flown.

Any particular reason its just rotting as a hanger queen?

Mind boggling thing...but those kinds of aircraft are out there. I know there is a 450 Stearman at a local field that has not seen the light of day in at least 25 years....
Airplane in a barn of the future!
Thanks for sharing Matt!

I thought it was "her" Mustang. I was under the impression that Gosshawk had restored the airplane on behalf of E.D. Weiner's widow. No?

What a waste of machinery.

It's one thing to restore an airplane to flying status and put it in a museum. I don't like that, but can understand it, at least people get to see it. Restore it to flying status and let it rot in a hanger, that's just plain stupid.

Thanks for posting. If that's what rotting looks like I'll take two!
