Anyone associated with Aluminum Overcast?

I know that there are a few here that are directly associated with Aluminum Overcast but can't remember who. I have a quick question if anyone is out there. Thanks in advance!

I'm actually looking for a paint code. I have a V-8 S-10 project that I've been making slow progress on for 5-6 years and I'm getting ready to finally order paint. I'm going to paint the truck silver like alot of currently flying warbirds are now, it'll have a Star and Bar graphic on the rear glass along with some Mustangs escorting B-29's. Interior will be olive drab when I get that far.

To me, the silver used on Aluminum Overcast looks closer to replicating bare aluminum than some others. I was hoping to be able to find out the paint code for what was used on her.



(Yes, the bed will be replaced, I'm not painting it that way!)

When I did the '78th FG paint job on my '70 Ranchero I used a Ford silver from the '03 Focus.

I'm thinking of repainting my mustang (S197 not P-51) and I'm considering a warbird theme. Suggestions welcome.
