I'm heading to Phoenix for a week today. Anything going on or I should (can) see warbird wise while there?

AZ Wing of the CAF at Mesa Falcon (FFZ) is a must see. Other than that, not too much, unless you want to drive down to Tucson.

Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson is definitely worth the trip. Just don't drive down in a 3-Cylinder Kia with a top speed of 53 mph.... in July....

You're about 20 years too late.
There used to be the Champlin Fighter Museum and lots of neat/old stuff at Mesa's Falcon Field.
Likewise Chandler Memorial (not municipal) had old firebombers and the field of H-19s...the 19s are gone now.
There was a F-86 on a pole in Chandler and statics at Luke.
The statics at Williams were taken out when the AF closed the base (I don't know why they didn't leave the T-37 and T-38..they're not exactly rare).

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.
