Airshow when you dont have an airshow.
Quite a few "warbird" types there.

But i think people still prefer 1:1 scale.

 Do you think MAYBE 'Red TAILS' air combat scenes might had looked better done with R/C instead of the dancing digits of CGI? I'll wager a fleet of models, flown a few at a time and combined would have looked better.

Looks like R/C guys need some landing practice!

I smiled through the whole thing. Laughed when the Me 323 Gigante lumbered by. And the F-117...the thing is unstable without all the computers. Amazing that this guy got it to fly.

Thanks for the link.

Mudge the entertained :D

ps...I'm sure the cost of some of those a/c would pay off the mortgage on my house.

I fly both RC and full size tailwheel airplanes. What saw were people trying to land too slowly. The perspective and feel of a model is totally different from a real a/c. What works for me with a model is a steep approach with throttle closed, flare very close to the ground without attempting a full stall landing. You fly the model all the way to a dead stop. There were some great models there, enjoyed watching this a great deal.

Very impressive, everything from an A10 Warthog to a Messerschmitt Gigant
