ID this Japanese Navy Aircraft data tag

Fri Feb 17, 2012 4:17 pm

Found this tag in an antique mall. It has the Navy anchor stamped on it so I am pretty sure it is from a WW2 Japanese Navy aircraft. Any help to ID what it came from is appreciated. There was another tag in the mall but I didn't buy it because I don't think it was for an aircraft. It had no anchor on it and in English it read VOLTS 3500, AMPS 100, and then a serial number. Sounds pretty large with 350,000 Watts for an aircraft; or is it? Thanks.

You don't indicate where you live, but there must be a University with a Japanese language program somewhere near you, I know a lot of people go to the Japanese language school @ the U of W in Seattle to get a correct Kanji character for a tattoo so it is not a cuss word or slur instead of 'brave warrior'. Take the parts placard with you and get the straight info.

Top line: Name of Parts: Receptacle or Connector (with switch, and water
proof)
Second line: Official Parts #: Electrical Regulator 3, Type 154-2
Third line: Current: 6A,   Weight: 1,89kg
Fourth line: Serial #: Blank, Date: 1941 February
Last line: Manufacturer: Yokosuka Naval Air Technical Arsenal, Production
Division

I don't see anything indicating the name of the plane.
This must be a data plate for an electrical part.
If you have a photo of this part itself, please send it.

Thanks for translating the tag. Unfortunately the tag is all I have.
