According to 'Preserved Axis Aircraft.com' and noted on FHC's facebook page. there may be a Stuka owned by Paul Allen.

Questions, other than a select few, how many actually knew about the IL-2 restoration until after it was released to the public? Is there a possiblility that other very rare warbirds are being restored worldwide under the radar? Such as this possible stuka? Don't know about you but I love these surprise restorations popping up at times. Hope to see a Stuka in a air someday. Paul Allen seems the most real chance of that happening these days. fingers crossed.

Interesting stuff! I'm looking forward to the day when the Me 262 & He 111 show up at the museum.

Nothing to report from me. The IL-2 was one of the best kept secrets ever. Still haven't had a chance to see it yet but will remedy that soon.

Does FHC have a Wildcat or Avenger in the collection? I would also like to know what if anything is happening with the B-17E. Anyone have any insider info?

I try to follow the happenings at the FHC as best I have time and with the little information that comes out of the place, but I have not read of a Wildcat or Avenger on any list I have been able to find. Doesn't mean they don't have one of each or a desire for one of each. Hope they do. By far my favorite collection of warbirds for many, many reasons. B-17E seems to be hidden from view. Hopefully we get another IL-2 type surprise with several aircraft soon. A6M and Hellcat seem to be on the horizon, again fingers crossed. :D

Perhaps thay can go after a Wildcat and/or an Avenger that rests on the bottom of Lake Michigan.

No Navy Hassles as an added bonus...

I'd like to have a nice looking Martlet. With how full that place is getting it would be easy to tuck in there.

FYI. The A6M3 and the IL-2 are both slated for the fly-day schedule this summer at FHC.

Nothing new. Wings are off, engine is off, paint is off.

Just pulling it our of thin air, I'd say a year or two.
