This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

This is heavily featured in the current Warbirds Intl. I've really been enjoying that article and the air to air pics the past week and finished it yesterday. There's a great story also written by Lockwood on the flight Magic Zero projects and what it's like to fly it. So if Lockwood has this one what's become of the other two airplanes Flight Magic restored.....Ok the CAF has one where is the other?

I have not yet recieved my Warbirds International, but I am looking forward to reading it.
The other Flight Magic Zero is C/N 3852 and is owned by Paul Allen for the FHC. It is currently in Chino at Fighter Rebuilders undergoing the two seat and various other modifications.

While on the subject of Zero's. Can anyone conferm the ID on this one I saw being repaired at Chino in May-ish 1997. I have it as a A6M3 NX712Z. Is that correct?

Yes you are correct. That is one of the three Flight Magic Zeros, was owned by David Price of the MOF, now owned by the CAF, C/N 3869 N712Z. 3869 made its first flight around April of 1998.
3869 is the sister of 3858 in the photos I posted.

Looks like the Yanks F-100 being disassembled behind the Zero. The F-100 is now being reassembled in Chino.
