This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

To make everyone aware.
After almost 1 year of very hard work this program has had to be canceled as we have been unable to obtain sufficient funding to cover the costs.
It was an extremely expensive proposition from the start and without the support of the needed Tourism and Corporate partners buy in costs could simply not be covered by the Alberta Aviation Museum alone.
We apologize for the cancellation.

Guys (Not just you Tom, I have had a number of PM's) I really appreciate the interest and I will keep names on file but I think you missed this line from my above post...
"After almost 1 year of very hard work this program has had to be canceled as we have been unable to obtain sufficient funding to cover the costs."
This was a $115,000.00 project and while we got over 1/2 way there we have not been able to raise the rest.
The project has had to be shut down.
My biggest disappointment is that this piece of our history (The North West Staging Route) is not going to get the recognition it deserves.
If anything changes I will contact those that have expressed interest.
Thanks again and apologies
