This is my HGU-55, it has the dual visor kit now. Next summer if I manage to get to Oshkosh, I'll further improve it with Oregon Aero parts.

Do you know what kind of helmet that is?

At first I thought it was one of those USN cranial units that the deck crews use (HGU-25?), but the more I look at it, it's not one of those. What is it?

Yep. I've got another of Bill's K10's. Mine' got a crack in it and I've not done any paint or repair on it yet, but it'll get some TLC one day.

Glad this subject has come up. I"m looking for a USN helmet like that worn by flight crews during the Korean War. I don't know the designation. Where might I get ahold of one and if I did could it be restored to working condition?
