What was the reason for posting the picture in the first place... poking the hornet's nest?

Well, let's see. This IS a WARBIRD website for supposed WARBIRD enthusiasts who like seeing AUTHENTIC pictures of WARBIRDS and their pilots. Christmas is the time for giving and sharing. So, apparently sharing an AUTHENTIC WWII photo censored by the military is not appropriate?????

Maybe it's time for the hornets to regroup and stand down.

Spitfire Premium Kentish Ale is the biggest ale success story of the last decade. Originally brewed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, its characteristically Kentish, hoppy flavor and risque advertising campaign has made it a firm favourite with beer lovers.
Winner of a gold medal and Best Strong Cask-Conditioned Beer of the World at the Brewing Industry International Awards, Spitfire Ale (4.5% abv) is now Shepherd Neame’s biggest-selling cask conditioned ale. Spitfire Ale has Protected Geographical Indication, the same regional produce protection afforded to Champagne and Parma Ham.

Love, Love this Campaign!!! Never be allowed in the States.., not PC!!
