This is absolutely nutz, who is the blockhead that censored the photograph? I hope its a joke. If it is serious, I would like for the mod to explain the reason for the censorship.
Its nose art, imagine the louve being cleared of the nude statues and paintings. the halls would be empty.

Most of the reason I came to WIX was my buddy turned me on to it after meeting Gary at the races. I only go to the airplane stuff, the military stuff isn't as interesting to me. I read all of Gary's threads and they were great, he had so many projects going, warbird and otherwise, and I saw the board as an inclusive one that includes pros and rank amateurs doing their thing and posting about it.

That said, this board has changed a lot over the short time I've been here and the last thing I expected was born-again Christianity censoring wartime photos in the name of saving marriages and political careers, or even souls. The board owner can do what he wants but this is the single most ridiculous thing I have ever seen and the silliest thing I've witnessed on any board purported to cater to history and certainly warfare.

If anything, the most immoral thing in life is the killing of another human being, and the most horrifying thing to see is that of the mangled and mutilated that received their injuries from weapons of modern war.

If anyone should be offended by nudes, it should be the female contingent of WIX and

I AM NOT AND NEVER HAVE BEEN OFFENDED BY ANY NUDE NOSE ART REGARDLESS THE WAR, THE POSE OR AIRCRAFT. The nose art is HISTORY.

What I am offended by is censorship and if this was done by any of the Mods, it is inexcusable!!!!
