For what was undoubtedly a relatively low budget, that's a helluva good job. All nitpicking aside

A Spit V dogfighting a 109E? Geez..five minutes of internet research would tell them it should either be a Spit I/II or 109F.

Just kidding..even taking the limited budget into account it's still more realistic than certain films <cough>pearlharbor<cough>. I'm still wating for a big-budget feature to really pull out all the stops and give us a truly believable WWII aviation epic using CGI. The trailers I've seen for "Red Tails" rate a heartfelt "meh," but I'm trying to remain optimistic about Peter Jackson's "Dambusters" remake. I thought the aerial sequences in "King Kong" were very well done, and by the time "Dambusters" gets to the stage where they're working on the CGI, the technology will be ten years more advanced.

Speaking of "Red Tails," I can't help but find it ironic that the aerial battle scenes look like the space battles in the last Star Wars movie, since 30 years earlier Lucas spliced together footage of real aircraft dogfights from various WWII movies to give the effects guys a rough template for the Death Star battle in the first Star Wars. To quote Darth Vader: "The circle is now complete..."

That would be 'HƎll in the Pacific", although I don't recall Toshiro Mifune being pregnant at any time in that one

Imagine yourself in their position. Flying over enemy territory and being shot at, yeah I think that I would have probably been voluntarily intered! :drink3:

I hear you!

Especially in the early years of the war when the bomber crews were just cannon fodder with no fighter cover. Criminal act by our commanders at that point. Just criminal!
