I have a photo somewhere of a main gear that was on display at the Royal Ontario Museum a couple of years ago with a short term display. I am not sure who owns it. Will try and find the photo.

The Canadian Museum of Flight, Langley, BC has a window section from the CF-105. Not much, but something. I'll try and find a picture when I get the chance.

And I can't remember the specifics, but I believe there's an Arrow nose cone in a museum somewhere in Ontario. Or was it at the BCATP Museum in Brandon, Manitoba. Or maybe I'm wrong on both guesses.

As a side note, there were a couple summers a while back that I worked with the Air Cadet Regional Gliding School at CFB Comox and I taught young cadets how to fly along side Krysia Zurakowski, Jan Zurakowski's grand daughter.

Peace,

David M

I saw the one in Ottawa as I asked to see it up close. The guide there took me pass the line so I could see it on the other side. It was sad to see the word's on it that said "cut here".

Hope some day they locate the test model's that they sent out over Lake Ontario on Nike missiles. I believe there are five of them out there. What a find they would be! Totally priceless items they would be.

Here's some videos of Robin Sipe and his efforts to restore an Orenda Iroquois at S & S Turbines in Fort St. John, BC.

I would never have expected Fort St. John to be a place where this work is done, but darn good on 'em.

So, I guess you could say that these are some fairly decent Avro Arrow Bits!

Peace,

Sure go for it. I am assuming it is still with the museum. The picture was taken at least 7yrs ago.

Just confirming the windscreen is indeed still at the Canadian Warplane Heritage, they have it in a case now.
