Warbird Digest had a nice feature on surviving Albatrosses a few years back. Issue 9, July/August 2006.

Fellow WIX'ers,

Seeing the stack of Grumman avians pictured in the original post from 1996 got me wondering if they are still around. You never know. Not sure, but I think this might have been the location in the pictures. What do you guys think? Is yes, then sadly no Grumman's.

The building looks similar, but there are no fuel storage tanks visible in Bearfan1's originals - and he said they were taken in Ft. Lauderdale, not Miami.

Rajay,

I had some of the same questions about the building. The location is not too far down I-95 from Ft. Lauderdale.

Still looking.
