The VAC TBM will be flying in 2012.

The Florida CAF TBM may get done but it may drag in to 2013.

Chris K in Ocala thinks his P-40 should be done by the fall of 2012.

Fantasy of Flight's A-26 may be done in 2012.

The CaSA and a few other aircraft are in a hangar across the taxiway last time I was there. The Cavanaugh folks have run out of room with their marvelous collection.

The delay in getting their new building approved and funded has hurt Cavanaugh a lot. With the B-24 and B-29 based at the museum, they lost a lot of overflow room in their South Hangar and their ability to make more room for projects like the Goose and P-47 without "displacing" some of the collection.

I know that the guys over there will figure it out, but I do hope that the City can get behind them and help them get their new complex built in the next 2-3 years because they deserve to have a showpiece to match the gems in the collection.

For the CAF Avenger...are you talking about the one Jack Kosko is restoring? IIRC, it's being restored in Maryland near the MD/PA state line? They seem to be making good progress on getting the plane together.

SaxMan, That is the Avenger I was referring to. Screwed up on the location. There's a great thread on this TBM restoration here:
