My Father called me today around 2:30 this afternoon and said he saw a B-17 heading east over his place in Canton, about 50 miles north of Atlanta. It was too high to identify the markings, and was being followed by a smaller (single engined?) airplane.
Anyone know which one it might have been? Did Chuckie head home today?

I was on Lake Windward about that time and definitely heard heavy props, but only saw a T-6 stooging around north of Alpharetta.

Could have been "Chuckie", it returned to MAM in Pungo just after 4pm yesterday.

Yup, I'll bet is was--the track shows it going over the Canton area and the time would be correct! I wonder if Ray Fowler was flying her......(edit--just heard from Ray, and he was flying Chuckie yesterday)
