You are correct sir, Austrian. I learned that one working in, um Austria. They had a SAAB J29 Tunnan on the roof of the terminal building that I would see every day.

Thank you.

I mistook these markings, for some others completely different on a PC-7 a while back.

This Cessna had lettering on different parts of the fuselage, in German. so I was almost sure of the nationality.

Saludos,

Tulio

You learned about those markings in Austria not Australia? Much smarter than our politicians.

Judging from the quality of the schnitzel it had to be Austria. Unless you can have kangaroo schnitzel...
One day at work I heard a small turboprop approaching in some kind of hurry. I looked just in time to see an Austrian Army Shorts Skyvan do a high speed pass down the runway followed by a steep pull up. All very smoothly done. It was fun to see the old box doing something like that. And of course, it was wearing the same markings as the Bird Dog in the photo above.

I also saw Junkers 52 D-AQUI and a Heavylift Shorts Belfast there. Every day was like an airshow. Don't know how I got any work done!
